Complaints Procedure

No seafarers pay our company any money for getting a job onboard.  We have never received such a fee and will never charge such a fee.

All crew members have the legal right to complain should they feel something has gone against them.

They should always follow the complaints procedure as laid out in their onboard staff handbook.

If they have not received a satisfactory answer they can and should contact the following people in this order:

-    Immediate supervisor
-    Head of Department
-    Master onboard their ship
-    Shoreside HR for the company they are employed with

Should any grievance be unresolved by the master or employer crew members can contact:

-    CEO of Jobs on a Ship Ltd (steve@jobsonaship.com)

And if the crew member is still not satisfied they can contact:

-    Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) (mlc@mcga.gov.uk)
